Lauren Sutherland launched Obelisk Tours in 2022 out of a love of the area and it's people. Moa Wine Safaris operates under the Obelisk Tours umbrella.

Lauren and her family have been involved in tourism in New Zealand for many years.  From flying passengers to majestic Mount Cook, and within the remote Fiordland region, to a cruising company providing one of the longest boutique cruises available in Milford Sound. Lauren has a passion for tourism and a vast variety of experience, from crewing cruise vessels, to organising cycle tour packages on the Central Otago cycle trails. She would love to assist you in enjoying our region's gorgeous wine and food.
